Ungweru-Chiedza assists organisations to develop Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems and frameworks that effectively determine the extent to which their interventions make a difference in the lives of their target groups and/or communities.

Learning is also a critical element of M&E as it informs decision-making as well as future programming. Learning strengthens understanding of the underlying problems identified, the affected   experiences, and the effectiveness of the interventions undertaken.

The range of specific work that we undertake is as follows:

  • Developing the Theory of Change and Logic Models
  • Developing measurements (impact, outcome, outputs, and indicators)
  • Determining both qualitative and quantitative baseline data for interventions.
  • Undertaking evaluations and reviews
  • Supporting the development of impactful reports.
  • Undertaking site visits for organisations in challenging environments including in these times of COVID-19
  • Capturing data and information for packaging into impact stories.
  • Providing M&E capacity development through tailor-made training and mentoring.
  • Extracting learning from interventions to package and disseminate them for decision making and improving future programming.
